Apple’s much-awaited iPhone 16 series has been finally launched at the company’s ‘It’s Glowtime’ event on Monday. The Cupertino-based tech giant went on to unveil four new iPhone models, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, further introducing its take on GenAI, what it describes as Apple Intelligence. While the iPhone 16 has retained the pricing from last year with its 128GB variant starting from Rs 65,000, the models come with a range of new features and designs.
While CEO Tim Cook took center stage to unveil the company’s latest release, several prominent personalities were invited to be a part of the event. YouTuber Marques Brownlee, aka MKBHD, was also invited to the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event. Known for his tech reviews and explainer videos, Brownlee took to his social media handle and shared updates about the visit.
In a picture shared on his X handle, the YouTuber captured his special invite card with Apple’s logo on it. However, the post isn’t as simple as it seems, as Brownlee decided to flaunt the camera of Google’s Pixel phone at the arch-rival’s event. “Shot on Pixel 9 Pro,” he wrote in the caption.

Social media users instantly reacted to the post with various comments. Some joked about his witty take on the age-old Apple vs. Google, while others suggested he take down the post. A user wrote, “Bro, delete this; they’re going to kick you out.”

One praised the YouTuber for not being impartial towards Cook’s Apple and said, “Marques is authentic & cannot be bought. That’s what makes him special among the tech influencers.”

While his intentional attempt at flaunting his Android camera at the Apple event turned out to be a hit, Brownlee, in another series of tweets, shared updates on the latest Apple launches. The YouTuber seemed quite impressed with the Apple Watch Series, stating that it has a bigger display, thinner bezels, a new S10 SiP inside and a satin black finish. Next in the line was AirPods Pro 2, which added clinical-grade hearing aid functionality.
