Social media is buzzing with the video of a Joseph Cyril Bamford’s (JCB) machine digging the ground and unearthing a fascinating discovery. This video has been uploaded on Instagram. It shows the JCB machine taking out a concrete slab with the help of its loader. It seems like the loader is quite heavy and the machine operator is struggling a lot to take out the slab. The moment the loader lifted the slab to some extent, users can see an arrow pointing toward a golden object. Till the end of the video, it is not clear what exactly is that thing, but the caption indicates that the machine has unearthed a treasure. “Moment of finding treasure with a scoop”, the caption of the video reads. This video has garnered more than 8 million views and counting, but it is not clear which country the viral video is from.

Social media users were intrigued to see this video. One of them loved how an ancient treasure was found right under the concrete. The user questioned whether it could be from the Nixonian era. For those who don’t know, the Nixon era refers to Richard Nixon’s presidency from 1969 to 1974. Another appreciated the fact that the concrete made by the Ancient Romans is still stronger and better than anything made by humans today. Ancient Romans lived in the centre of a vast empire that spanned across Europe, northern Africa, and parts of the Middle East. Lasting over a thousand years, the ancient Roman civilization contributed to modern languages, government, architecture, and other fields.

Similar news surfaced some time back when a JCB driver named Mark Copsey, 44 dug up 3,339 rare Roman coins. According to The Mirror, Mark Copsey was levelling a recreation ground for a hockey pitch, when he spotted the huge haul of silver coins in the soil. The lucky driver received Rs 81,03,531 after an official ruled he would be entitled to half the value of the hoard which experts have valued at Rs 1,82,99,645. Lorry driver Colin Parnell was also on the site and saw Mark stop his JCB and examine the ground. Parnell argued the discovery of the coins was a team find – but his claim was dismissed by the officials.
