TikTok sensation Noel Robinson is making waves in India recently spotted showing off his dance moves on the bustling streets of Mumbai. Sharing a couple of lively reels on Instagram this May, the Germany-based dancer was seen dancing alongside everyday Mumbaikars, including a rickshaw driver and roadside vendors. However, it was his dance collaboration with Mumbai policeman Amol Kamble, popularly known as the ‘Dancing Cop,’ that truly stole the show and went viral.
In the video, the duo shared two dance clips, with Noel playfully ‘stealing’ a phone, only to have the cop join in on the dance instead of reprimanding him. The lighthearted reel was a planned piece created for entertainment purposes, showcasing the fun side of the Mumbai police force. Noel clearly enjoyed dancing with Kamble, dubbing him the ‘Coolest policeman in the world.’

However, not everyone was amused. Some netizens criticised the reel, suggesting that the cop’s dancing sent the wrong message about police conduct. In response, Kamble shared another video clarifying the situation and showing ‘action’ being taken on the ‘mobile snatching incident.’

The new reel humorously depicted Kamble ‘taking action’ against Noel, set to the background music ‘Calm Down,’ sending a message that the Mumbai Police are always vigilant and ready to act. “No matter where you’re from, if you commit a crime in front of the Mumbai police, you’ll end up where you have to.” Because we are @mumbaipolice,” read the caption of the now-viral reel.
