This Long-horned Insect Eats Up Trees Within Days, We Are Not Joking
When the Asian long-horned beetles enter any house, they are more dangerous than termites.

The Asian long-horned beetle (Anoplophora glabripennis), also known as the starry sky beetle or ALB, is native to the Korean peninsula, northern and southern China and northern Japan. These species were now accidentally introduced in the eastern United States, where it was first discovered in 1996, as well as in Canada and several European countries, including Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Great Britain. The species has become the enemy of the life of the trees as it destroys objects made of bamboo within a few hours.

Some people also know this long-horned insect by the name ladybug. It is said that it is not only difficult but impossible to remove it once it is stuck somewhere. This can only be prevented by cutting off the trees. It is so dangerous that it destroys every tree it enters within a few days. For many countries in America, South Africa, the Middle East, Australia, Switzerland and India, this remains a challenge.

According to researchers at the University of Hamburg in Germany, the long-horned beetle eats everything when it enters your house – your sofa, your dining table and your chairs. That’s why they are also considered pests that cause trouble in houses. Recently, they caused great devastation in Switzerland. For this reason, a large part of the forest had to be cut down. Because the only way to get rid of ladybugs is to destroy the infected trees.

In many countries, it has also caused great damage to the bamboo industry. The long-horned beetles destroy the trees and make round holes. They lay eggs in the hole give birth to children and then spread out. Now, the new species repeat the same cycle. This infection eventually kills the trees in a few days. Through the hole, the tree does not get the nutrients and one day it dries up. As a result, billions of trees are getting lost worldwide. The goat beetle was first found in Europe in 1924. Since then, they have been causing devastating damage.
