With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, companies are getting creative and whipping up a delicious storm of new love-themed food items. From heart-shaped sweet treats to savoury surprises, there’s something to tempt every tastebud and add a touch of culinary romance to the occasion. However, unlike others, a cookie company has thought outside the box and devised a way to tackle the daunting part of relationships, i.e., breakups with sweetness.
Wondering what it could be? So, ahead of the day of love, the company has introduced custom cookie delivery boxes that convey breakup messages. Yes, you read that right. At a time when companies are looking for ideas to make something unique for lovebirds to commemorate love, a cookie company is offering an unconventional opportunity for couples to part ways with an unforgettable memory.
Insomnia Cookies, a company based in the United States, is redefining the art of separation with their personalised cookie delivery boxes, crafted specially for sending breakup messages and turning heartbreaks into a delicious and innovative experience. As per a report by media outlet Fox Business, the company also offers customised message options, including phrases like:
“It’s not me, it’s you”
“You’re sweet, but not my taste”
“Have the hots for your roommate”
“We’re done. Have a nice life”
During a press release, Insomnia said that the cookie delivery messaging is a very unserious way of ending things, since warm cookies are better than a cold heart, reported the portal.
Insomnia Cookies also shared a picture of the breakup cookie box on their official Instagram handle with the caption, “Even cookies understand the need for a clean break. Enjoy the bittersweet taste of moving on while our cookies convey the timeless message: ‘It’s not me – it’s you.’ because sometimes, crumbs are all that’s left.”
