'Treasures from the Memoirs': IAS Officer Shares Handwritten UPSC Marksheet Scribbled by Late Father

The journey of UPSC aspirants is not an easy task as it requires determination, patience, hard work, time management, and more. Recently, Sonal Goel, an IAS officer from the 2008 batch took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to reignite memories of her late father’s support. She shared a photo of a handwritten UPSC marksheet scribbled by her late father. The officer appreciates her father’s support in the post.

In the post, Sonal shares a picture of a handwritten UPSC marksheet that was scribbled by her late father. She expresses gratitude for the support, care, and guidance she received from her parents. Sonal Goel shared this picture on her X account @sonalgoelias. Sharing the post, she wrote, “Treasures from the Memoirs. Came across this handwritten marksheet from Papa a few days back, while looking for old educational certificates.” She add, “Papa must have written this just after the UPSC released the results and marksheets way back in 2008, which just reminds me again of his concern and love for me! The support, care, and guidance extended by parents are completely unconditional and irreplaceable.”

She concluded her post with a heartfelt message, “Papa is not with us physically now, but I know he is watching and guiding me in my endeavours toward society. (wherever you may be, always be happy and keep blessing us). Keep blessing us, dear Papa. Miss you always.”
