On Camera: UP Women Slap, Pull Each Other's Hair Over Rs 100 Dispute At Medical Shop

A video of a heated exchange between a man and a group of women customers at a medical shop has surfaced online.

The altercation took place at a medical store in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda. Reportedly. the women were fighting over a dispute of Rs 100. In the video, the situation escalates as the women engage in physical confrontation, pulling hair and exchanging slaps. Amid the chaos, one woman can be heard threatening to involve higher authorities by mentioning the DIG.

The video, shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by ‘Ghar Ke Kalesh’, bore the caption, “Kalesh b/w Medical Store owners and Ladies in Banda UP.”

Following its circulation across various social media platforms, the footage caught the attention of the UP police. Their subsequent post shed light on the situation, stating, “In this case, there was a minor dispute between the two parties over a loan of Rs 100. The woman submitted an application stating that the matter between the two parties has been resolved and requested not to take any legal action.”

Since being shared online, the video accumulated over 90,000 views, triggering a storm of reactions in the comment section.

One witty user remarked, “lol, this all happened just because of ₹100 Aur ye DIG, Collector ko bulane lage hain (And they are calling DIG for this).”

Another commenter quipped, “Women empowerment at peak level.”

Amid the banter, someone humorously noted, “Bahut bada matter lgta hai tabhi DIG hi solve kr paayenge (It seems like a big matter, only DIG can resolve it).”

This isn’t the first time that such altercations have gained traction online. On March 6, a disturbing incident unfolded in Greater Noida where a group of ten to twelve men launched a violent assault on a pharmacist at a medical store located in Gaur City 2. According to the reports, the altercation, which was captured on CCTV, was triggered by an alleged medication error. The son of an elderly woman accused the pharmacist of dispensing incorrect medication.
