In His 'Swifties Era', Tennis Legend Roger Federer Shares Selfie With The Midnights Singer
Roger Federer and his family recently attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert in Zurich, Switzerland.

Roger Federer is basking in his ‘Swiftie era’. The retired tennis legend recently stopped by Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Zurich, Switzerland, and even met the popstar. Expressing his love for the musician, Federer shared a backstage picture with the singer and wrote, “In my Swiftie era,” along with a series of emojis. The picture seems to have been taken after the concert, with the tennis champion wearing his VIP lanyard around his neck. Taylor was also dressed in the glittering blue outfit that she wore for the show.

Sharing big smiles for the selfie, the two radiated immense happiness as they beamed at the camera. Notably, Federer wasn’t alone. He was accompanied by his wife Mirka, and their kids, Myla, Charlene, Leo, and Lenny. Several other fan pages shared pictures of the family from the concert. In one of them, Roger could be seen wearing a bunch of friendship bands with the names of Taylor’s popular songs, like Anti-Hero and Champagne Problems.

Earlier this year, the tennis champion wished to attend Swift’s concert. “We went to a lot of concerts last year. I didn’t sing, I just played a little shaker thing. But we also saw Bruce Springsteen twice and Elton John. This summer Taylor Swift is coming to Switzerland, so of course we’ll go to that, and ACDC too,” he told People.

Having retired from the sport in 2022 after the Laver Cup, Federer continues to support Tennis. He became a professional player in 1998, at the age of 16. Over the years, Federer won 20 Grand Slam singles titles.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Clearly on a roll with her super-successful Eras Tour 2024 and her latest release, The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift continues to extend her tour dates. In the Europe leg of the Eras Tour, it will next proceed to the US and Canada this fall.

After wrapping up her two-night stay at Switzerland’s Letzigrund Stadium with the final performance on July 10, Taylor is next headed for Milan on July 13.
