What Amar Upadhyay Has To Say About His Re-Entry In Doree As Ganga Prasad

Amar Upadhyay is poised to make a comeback to Colors TV’s popular show Doree but with a twist. His portrayal of Ganga Prasad in the show had left audiences impressed. Fans of the actor had fervently prayed for his return, and it seems their wishes have been granted. In a recent interview, Amar expressed his delight at rejoining the show, describing it as a heartfelt return to a cherished character.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Amar shared, “I’m thrilled to be making a re-entry into Doree. It feels like coming back home to a familiar and beloved character. It was disappointing to hear about TRP’s loss during my absence from the show. However, I’m grateful for the viewers’ support and excited to be back to hopefully regain their interest.”

The actor also acknowledged the enthusiasm of the audience and their desire to see him back on the show. “Absolutely, when fans request my re-entry, it adds a sense of responsibility and motivation to deliver my best performance. Their support means everything to me,” he added.

Amar’s character, Ganga Prasad, served as Doree’s (Played by Mahi Bhanushali) foster father, making him her sole family and their bond was marked by deep love and affection. While Doree faced the challenges of navigating through Kailashi Devi’s conspiracies, Ganga Prasad stood as her pillar of support. However, Kailashi’s bad intentions led to a tragic outcome, as she plotted against Ganga Prasad and orchestrated his demise, leaving Doree shattered and devastated. She refused to accept her father’s death and prayed for his return. In the upcoming episodes, her prayers will be answered as she reunites with her father, Ganga Prasad.

The makers of the show have released the promo of the upcoming episode on Colors TV’s Instagram. In the clip, Amar makes his re-entry on the show, and Doree is overjoyed to see Ganga Prasad before her eyes. Believing her prayers have been answered, she rushes towards him and hugs him. However, her happiness is short-lived as Ganga Prasad pushes her and claims not to recognize her. When Mansi, her daughter-in-law, gives birth to a baby girl named Doree, the family decides to abandon her. However, Ganga Prasad finds Doree in the river and decides to raise her as his own.
