Saubhagyavati Bhava starring Karanvir Bohra and Sriti Jha was one of the most-watched Hindi serials back in 2011. The soap opera enjoyed high TRP ratings upon its release and even paved the way for its second season after 12 years. Saubhagyavati Bhava — Niyam Aur Shartein Laagu, which is currently streaming on Star Bharat has also raked up positive reviews from the masses. This time, Dheeraj Dhoopar and Amandeep Sidhu play the lead cast. Karanvir Bohra has been roped in for the second season too in the role of an antagonist. The second installment has already piqued the interest of viewers with its twists and turns. Now, another interesting development has come to the fore.
Dheeraj Dhooper plays the character of Raghav while Amandeep Sidhu essays the role of Siya in Saubhagyavati Bhava 2. The storyline shows Raghav as an abuser, much like Karanvir’s Viraj Dobriyal in the first season. Initially, Siya thought that she was married to the love of her life who would shower her with affection. But her dreams were shattered when she discovered that underneath Raghav’s gentlemanly facade, he was a wife-beater. To escape from the clutches of domestic abuse, Siya decides to run away from Raghav but fails in the endeavour. Raghav manages to catch her red-handed and brings his wife home, unwilling to let Siya go.

In the meantime, Viraj Dobriyal gets released from jail and embarks on a quest to find his wife Janhvi. Apparently, he is deterred by the idea of Janhvi with anyone else. With no way out for Siya to escape from Raghav, the serial’s plot indicates that Viraj might help Siya on her mission. Whether or not Siya is able to come out from Raghav’s controlled grasp is for the upcoming episodes to decide.
On September 12, Karanvir Bohra dropped the promo of Saubhagyavati Bhava 2 on Instagram, announcing the release date of the second season. “Are you guys ready? From 26th September. Dehshat phir degi dastak. The evil is back,” he wrote in his caption. Sporting an intense look, Karanvir says, “Here’s a new story which is familiar. But it is not only mine but a story of someone who’s just a lion like me. Even his love is uncontrollable but even he has a few rules and conditions in love. If his rules are not followed then.”
