Sony Mobile Communications today announced the release of Xperia XZ Premium with 4K HDR display.
Xperia XZ Premium is the first smartphone to feature a memory stacked Exmor RS sensor which provides 5x faster image scanning and data transfer, as claimed by the company.
Xperia XZ Premium is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor capable of Gigabit-Class LTE (up to 1Gbps).
It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and a 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. It is expandable up to 256GB using SD card.
Sony bets big on the smartphone’s optics which includes a 19-megapixel camera on the back and a 13-megapixel camera on the front.
Other features of the cameras include video recording in 960 frames per second, providing Super slow motion video, Plus Predictive Capture, Steadyshot and more.
The exterior has a glass loop surface and a mirrored effect on the back with a fingerprint sensor power button.
Xperia XZ Premium is water resistant, dust-proof and is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back of the handset.
