The new Moto Z2 Play is now available on Flipkart and brick-and-mortar stores for a price of Rs 27,999. The second generation Moto Z Play offers Moto Mod support like the earlier Moto Z Play and sports a sleek metal unibody design instead of the glass rear. The device is now available in Gold and Grey colour options.
The Moto Z2 Play is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2TB).
Flipkart is also offering a buyback price of Rs 11,000 for this phone which guarantees a buy back value of Rs 11,000 when returned within six to eight months and Rs 8,500 for returns within nine to 12 months. Buyers can also save up to 57 percent on the JBL SoundBoost Mod (Rs 2,999) while the Hassleblad True Zoom Camera Mod is available for Rs 14,999 if bought together with the phone. The Moto Z2 Play with JBL SoundBoost Mod and Hassleblad True Zoom Camera Mod is available for a special bundle price of Rs 45,997. The company is not offering any discounts on the Instashare Projector Mod.

The phone offers 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and weighs a little less than 150 grams. It isn't water-proof but, can take a few splashes.
The Moto Z2 Play runs the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.It features a 12MP, f/1.7 PDAF primary camera with dual-tone Flash along with a 5MP f/2.0 selfie camera with flash. There is a fingerprint scanner on the front bottom-bezel and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
