New Delhi: Meizu has launched a new smartphone - the M2 Note - in India. Priced at Rs 9,999, the new smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon India from August 10.
The phone runs Flyme OS 4.5 based on Android 5.1 and is powered by the 64-bit octa-core processor. The M2 note is available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage capacities. There is also a microSD card slot that supports a card of of up to 160 GB.
According to Meizu, an improved unibody molding technique has been used in the manufacturing process of the Meizu M2 Note, together with a polycarbonate body covering the magnesium-alloy frame. This creates a texture which is both soft and durable.
It features a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD screen with a pixel density of 403 ppi. The M2 note has a 13 megapixel CMOS camera with a dual-tone flash that is said to deliver white balance, even in low-light environments. The FotoNation beatifying system in the 5 megapixel front camera has been upgraded, claims the company.
The M2 Note supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE 4G, which means that users can switch between them without any limitation. Two Nano-SIM cards can be inserted into the M2 Note's single tray.
The phone will be available in white, blue, grey and pink colour options.
The Meizu M2 Note has been unveiled six months after its predecessor.
