As per reports, whenever the Power star Puneeth went for a shoot in Karnataka, he used to visit this place in Bengaluru. It is located in the Kanteerava Studios, which is the memorial site of his father, Dr Rajkumar. The reports state that the actor used to visit the memorial regularly, taking the blessings of his late father. He refused to venture out for a shoot without taking his father’s blessings. The late actor used to visit the memorial early in the morning, and sometimes in the evenings.
The late veteran actor, Dr Rajkumar’s memorial site is visited by many every day and people from around the country come to pay their respects.
Puneeth Rajkumar left for his heavenly abode on October 29, 2021, in Bengaluru. He died at the age of 46, after suffering from a cardiac arrest. The actor’s last film was titled Yuvarathnaa, which was released on April 1, 2021. It was directed by Santhosh Ananddram, and included Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead, along with Sayyeshaa, Dhananjay, Prakash Raj, Diganth and Sai Kumar. Vijay Kiragandur produced the film under the banner of Hombale Films. The cinematographer was Venkatesh Anguraj, while the editing was done by Jnaanesh B Matad, and Thaman S composed the music.
Puneeth Rajkumar’s official last release was Gandhada Gudi, a posthumously released docudrama, starring the actor as himself. It was directed by Amoghavarsha JS, and produced under the banner of PRK Productions. The film was released on October 28, 2022.
