Thalapathy Vijay’s film The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu, is generating immense anticipation. It is believed to be his last film before he joins full-time politics. Fans massively welcomed Thalapathy Vijay at the Thiruvananthapuram airport recently. They even gathered at the sets of GOAT to witness him in action. Vijay also made this moment special for his fans from Kerala, as he came out from his vanity van and climbed atop to greet them. The Leo actor acknowledged fans’ support by saying that he feels happy to see their faces, in a similar manner in which they feel delighted on Onam (a major annual event in Kerala). The crowd was delighted to hear their favourite actor interacting with them in Malayalam and cheered for him jubilantly. After a couple of minutes, the 49-year-old actor then climbed down from the vanity van.

With Thalapathy Vijay portraying dual roles, The Greatest Of All Time boasts an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Meenaakshi Chaudhary. Filming for this film has progressed swiftly, spanning locations from Chennai to Sri Lanka, Thailand and Hyderabad, with the current schedule in Kerala. In Kerala, shooting started at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on March 18, marking Vijay’s return to Kerala after 14 years since his last film, Kaavalan, in 2011. Fans had expressed their excitement by erecting billboards at the stadium to welcome the acclaimed actor.

There is another reason why Thalapathy Vijay’s fans are eagerly looking forward to watching GOAT. As per the reports, actress Trisha Krishnan may grace the screens with her cameo role in this film. Trisha and Vijay’s impeccable on-screen chemistry has been loved by the viewers; thus, news of the former’s cameo has piqued the excitement for the film. It is reported that she has already completed shooting for her scenes, among which is a song. The convergence of Vijay’s on-screen charisma, Venkat Prabhu’s directorial prowess, and an ensemble cast promise an enthralling cinematic experience, eagerly anticipated by viewers.
