Nithiin To Play A Thief With A Cause In His Next Titled Robinhood

Telugu actor Nithiin has collaborated with filmmaker Venky Kudumula for his next film. The tentative title was initially said to be #VNRTrio. On January 26, Nithiin uploaded a poster of this movie, unveiling its title. Nithiin wrote in the caption, “Hello my dear family members, #ROBINHOOD is here – #IdhiVere #VN2. Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore, Dayanand Reddy, and Rajendra Prasad will also act in this film. Mythri Movie Makers have produced Robinhood.

The glimpse of the film, which was released on January 26, gives a hint as to what its premise will be about. The glimpse shows Nithiin disguised as Santa Claus, who is holding a bag of cash and gold. While the front portion of his bike reads, ‘I’m an Indian’. In the back, it is written, ‘I’m aware that I’m rare’. Nithiin then hides his money and says that since he treats all Indians as his brothers and sisters, he also feels the right to steal money from them. The title reveal glimpse of Robinhood has garnered more than 49,00,000 views and counting.

Social media users appreciated the intriguing glimpse by the makers. One of the users commented, “This type of cinema and Story I was wanting from Nithiin Anna for many years very excited for more of the content from this movie …". GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for Robinhood. Koti is in charge of the film’s editing, while Sai Sriram has handled the film’s cinematography.

The R in #VNRTrio, Robinhood’s tentative title was said to imply actress Rashmika Mandanna. According to an IndiaToday report, Rashmika is already acting in Pushpa 2, Rainbow (Tamil – Telugu) and another Telugu film. She also has two Hindi projects on hand. Reportedly, It was difficult for her to adjust the dates for this project. Thus, she has reportedly opted out of the Nithiin film. Rashmika, Nithiin, and Venky had earlier teamed up for the 2020 film Bheeshma. Bheeshma, a romantic entertainer, received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. Anant Nag, Sampath Raj and VK Naresh also acted in this film produced by Sithara Entertainments and Goldmine Telefilms.
