Popular Marathi actress Sonal Pawar, known for her roles in Tula Pahate Re and Rama Raghav, recently entered a new chapter in her life by tying the knot with entrepreneur Sameer Paulaste on December 28, 2023. The couple celebrated their union in a private ceremony, showcasing the rich traditions of a Marathi wedding.

In viral photos circulating on the internet, Sonali looks stunning in a traditional Marathi nauvari paithani saree in magenta, adorned with a striking gold Kolhapuri necklace and other intricate jewellery. The joyous couple was captured in a video performing wedding rituals, expressing their happiness as they started their new journey together.

This union comes after the couple’s engagement in November, celebrated through the Sakharpuda ceremony, a significant pre-wedding custom in Maharashtra.

Sonal Pawar has made a significant mark in the Marathi television industry, debuting with the show Asmita on Zee Marathi. Currently, she is part of the cast of Rama Raghav, airing on Colors Marathi.

Her notable works also include Boss Majhi Ladachi, Ghadge & Suun, Ladachi Mi Lek Ga, Saraswati, and the popular song Raat Chandana, which garnered her widespread recognition. Sonal was featured in Zee Yuva’s show Shaurya and played the role of Dr. Sakshi in Khulta Kali Khulena. However, one of her most memorable performances was in the acclaimed show Tula Pahate Re, where she portrayed the character of Rupali, a friend of Isha (played by Gayatri Datar). The series, directed by Girish Mohite and Chandrakant Gaikwad, featured an ensemble cast including Subodh Bhave, Gayatri Datar, and Shilpa Tulaskar, gaining popularity during its run from August 13, 2018, to July 20, 2019.
