Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Shuts Trolls Targetting Her Personal Life With This Post

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar recently entered a new phase of her life when she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend and gallerist Nicholai Sachdev among some close friends and family. While many social media users conveyed their heartfelt wishes to the couple, some tried to troll the actress that she would become the second wife of Sachdev. Some also tried to spread reports that Sachdev already has a daughter.

Amid these reports, Varalaxmi came up with an Instagram post and wrote, “Don’t think about making women fit the world—think about making the world fit women, Gloria Steinem.” Varalaxmi further appreciated the women who live life on their terms. She encouraged the women to not worry about what people have to say about them and to live every moment joyously.

“Proud to be a Woman.. every day is woman’s day..!!”, Varalaxmi ended the caption with these words. Alongside the caption, she has uploaded a montage video of her pictures dressed in an ivory and gold silk saree. She attached the song Vaayadi Petha Pulla to the video sung by Aaradhana SivaKarthikeyan, Sivakarthikeyan, and Vaikom Vijayalakshmi. Dhibu Ninan Thomas composed the music for this track.

Varalaxmi has also treated to an array of her pictures with Sachdev her fans on Instagram. The Vikram Vedha actress looked stunning as she paired it with a hot pink blouse adorned with gold motifs. She also accessorised her look with a statement diamond necklace and earrings. Varalaxmi opted to tie her hair into a bun which was adorned with flowers. Meanwhile, her fiance Nicholai went with a colour-co-ordinated traditional ensemble. In another photo, he and Varalaxmi can be seen with flower garlands around their neck and posing with their loved ones. The couple’s families too wore matching dresses as they flaunted their happiest smiles for the camera.

Reportedly, the couple has been in contact with each other for the last 14 years. Varalaxmi shot to fame first with her 2012 movie Podaa Podi. She last acted in Prasanth Varma’s Hanu Man which starred Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Vinay Rai, Deepak Raj Shetty, and others in important roles.
