New Delhi: Former Maharashtra chief minister Narayan Rane met Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Delhi amidst speculation of a Cabinet reshuffle in the state.

Congress ally NCP recently attacked Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan for his refusal to back ministers, several of them from the NCP, facing allegations of corruption. Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil was also criticised by the NCP.
