LS polls: BJP suspends its Nilgiris candidate Gurumurthy

Chennai: The BJP Nilgiris candidate Gurumurthy and his election agent Varadarajan were suspended from the party.

This after Gurumurthy's nomination was rejected as he failed to produce valid documents. In a statement, the state unit of the BJP said this decision has been taken after through investigation.

Further action will be taken by BJP high command as the report has already been submitted. Gurumurthy was supposed to contest against 2G accused and DMK's sitting MP A Raja.
