8. Hanumangarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Ganganagar (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Hanumangarh falls in Hanumangarh district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 2,67,515 voters in the seat, which includes 1,39,542 male voters, and 1,27,973 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Hanumangarh recorded a voter turnout of 82.35%. In 2013 the turnout was 85.21%, and in 2008 it was 78.8%.

In 2013, Rampratap of BJP won the seat by a margin of 30,487 votes (15.71%). Rampratap secured 45.53% of the total votes polled.

INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 386 votes (0.24%), registering 38.56% of the total votes polled.
