Day 10: 2G logjam in Parliament continues
Parliament was first adjourned till 12 noon and then for the day after the Opposition created a ruckus over 2G scam.

New Delhi: The deadlock in Parliament over the 2G spectrum scam continues for the 10th day running with the Opposition disrupting both the Houses, both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were first adjourned till 12 noon soon after the proceeding began on Thursday morning. But the pandemonium continued after Parliament reconvened forcing adjourned for the day.

While the Bharatiya Janata Party and other opposition parties create a ruckus inside Parliament demanding an investigation by a Joint Parliamentary Committee into the 2G spectrum scam, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh took the demand outside the House.

Mulayam staged a dharna along with other Samajwadi Party MPs demanding a JPC investigation into the telecom scandal.

"This is the most corrupt government. They don't want the session to continue. They're trying to run away from taking responsibility in the 2G spectrum scam," alleged Mulayam.

Opposition parties want the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government to set up a JPC to investigate the Comptroller and Auditor General report which claimed that grant of licences for 2G spectrum by former telecom minister A Raja caused a loss of about 1.76 lakh crore to the exchequer.
