Central police force arrive for Chennai polls

Chennai: Five companies of central police force, out of the total of 50 to be deployed across poll-bound Tamil Nadu, arrived in the city on Monday.

Around 500 personnel from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh arrived in Chennai on Monday morning and will be deployed across the state, official sources said.

Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry are scheduled to go to polls on April 13.
