New Delhi: BJP MP from Arrah in Bihar RK Singh was summoned by the party general secretary (organisation) Ramlal for his anti party remark stating that it has given tickets to known criminals in Bihar.
Sources said, the central BJP leadership was angry over Singh's continuous anti-party statement during the Bihar state election and therefore he was summoned to clarify his stand as a party MP.
It was learnt that Singh was questioned on why he preferred not to discuss the issue or his grievances in the party forum and why he made his statement before the media. He was advised that in future he should not cross the party line and should discuss such issues in the party's internal meetings.
"It is unfortunate that popular sitting MLAs are denied tickets and criminals are being given tickets. This is the reason party workers got angry," Singh had said adding that the party is weakening its position in Bihar by playing dirty politics.
Ramlal also had a telephonic conversation with senior party leader Shatrughan Sinha and it is expected to meet him soon.
The actor-turned-politician had said that he was firm on seeking action against those responsible for the Bihar poll debacle. "Taali kaptan ko, to gaali bhi kaptan ko” (the leader who expects applause should also accept abuses for the defeat)," he said.
