A video which has sparked massive outrage on social media features a news anchor. In the video, the anchor can be seen laughing while reporting the Bagmati river floods. The anchor belongs to a Bihar and Jharkhand-based media outlet. She is now receiving backlash for laughing on live television while reporting such a serious situation. The blunder came into notice when ‘X’ user ‘Sanjay Tripathi’ shared the video on the micro blogging platform. Within some time, the video went viral and caught attention from a lot of people.

Drastic floods in the Bagmati River have resulted in waterlogging at Darbhanga and several other areas of Bihar. As of now, it is unclear as to what made her laugh while reporting such a serious topic. Many in the comments section suspect that there must be a PCR room goof up.
