Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is a government organisation that encourages employees to save for retirement. The EPFO’s goal is to encourage employees to save for retirement through a variety of programmes that encompass workers. The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), one of its principal systems, is thought to be an obligatory contribution scheme for employees. As part of this, both companies and employees can pay monthly contributions to protect employees’ financial security.
Also, members can file a complaint on the EPFO portal if they have any problems or grievances regarding EPF. This can cover claims, deposits, account balance, and employer irregularities, among other things. EPF members can use the EPF i-Grievance Management System (EPFiGMS) online to lodge their complaints or grievances.
What Is The EPFO Portal?
It is a specialised platform created by EPFO that tries to resolve complaints about EPFO services. Any complaints submitted through the portal are routed to the appropriate officials and answered within a defined time frame. EPF members can use the EPFiGMS portal to not only submit grievances but also get answers to their questions.
According to the EPFO, members can file complaints and concerns at any time and they will be routed to the appropriate agency. Complaints can also be directed to the head office in Delhi or to one of the country’s field offices. Furthermore, it enables EPF members to examine the status of existing complaints and requests.
