Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan's friendship dates back to 1994, when they worked together on Kundan Shah's 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa'.

Shah Rukh Khan, in a sombre mood, arrived at Farah Khan’s house to pay his last respects to her mother, Menaka Irani, who passed away on Friday. Accompanied by his wife, Gauri Khan, SRK appeared visibly upset as he got out of the car at Farah’s residence. SRK and Farah’s friendship dates back to 1994, when they worked together on Kundan Shah’s “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.”

Dressed in a white shirt and blue denim, SRK also sported a brown sling bag, ponytail, and glasses. Gauri wore a printed full-sleeve outfit. Upon arrival, SRK was surrounded by photographers but chose to avoid them, instead holding the car door for Gauri before they both headed straight into the elevator to meet Farah.

Earlier in the day, several celebrities, including Rani Mukerji, Shilpa Shetty, Bhushan Kumar, and MC Stan, among others, arrived at Farah Khan’s house to pay their last respects.

Just days before her mother’s passing, Farah had dedicated an endearing birthday greeting to Menaka Irani on Instagram. She wrote, “We all take our mothers for granted, especially me! This past month has been a revelation of how much I love my mom, Menka. She’s been the strongest and bravest person I’ve ever seen, with her sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries.”

She added, “Happy birthday, Mom! Today is a good day to come back home. I can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again. I love you.”

On the professional front, Farah Khan was last seen as a judge on the dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.” She also choreographed the song “Naina” from the film “Crew,” starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
