Pankaj completed his schooling from Higher Secondary School in Belsand, Gopalganj. Now, as Pankaj is financially self-sufficient, he has also taken over the maintenance work of his school. He also inaugurated a library at this school and dedicated this initiative to the cherished memory of his late father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari.

He inaugurated this library in 2023 and told The Tribune, “In dedicating this library to the cherished memory of my father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari, I hope to instil a lifelong love for knowledge and literature in the hearts of students of Belsand, Gopalganj, which is the school where I took my first steps. Education is the greatest gift we can give to our future generations, and it is my honour to contribute to their journey of learning.”

As of now, Pankaj resides in a house in Madh Island with his family. He is married to Mridula Tripathi and has a daughter named Aashi Tripathi.
