Actor Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has purchased 78,361 square feet of farm land in Alibaug, Raigad district, for Rs 10 crore. This comes two months after Suhana made her acting debut with Netflix original film The Archies.
Suhana has reportedly paid a stamp duty of Rs 57 lakh for the transaction, according to The Economic Times. The transaction was registered on February 13, 2024. In June last year, Suhana had bought agricultural land spread across 1.5 acres with three structures on it in Alibaug for Rs 12.91 crore.
Meanwhile, after her OTT debut with the Zoya Akhtar directorial, Suhana is gearing up for her first big screen outing. Suhana is teaming up with her father Shah Rukh Khan for her next film, reportedly titled King. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand will be overseeing the action scenes. As per latest reports, the film will go on floors in May this year.
“Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh have been constantly in touch with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan with multiple meetings from October 2023 to February 2024. Sujoy is meticulously working on the script with Sid and SRK. Designing world-class action sequences rests fully on Siddharth,” a source close to the development told Pinkvilla.
Speaking about the film’s plot, a source had earlier told Pinkvilla, “The flavour of action in King will be very different from what SRK has done in Pathaan and Jawan. This one would be sleek with a lot of chase sequences. However, the core plot is emotional and driven by the story. It has lots of twists and turns, which is the reason why Sujoy has been bestowed with the responsibility of direction.”
The film will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment with Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Entertainment. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Dunki. He also has Tiger vs Pathaan in the pipeline.
