Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday morning to cheer for her cousin, Mannara Chopra. The latter is currently in the Bigg Boss 17 house and is one of the finalists on Salman Khan’s show.
PeeCee shared a photo of Mannara from Bigg Boss 17 and penned down a motivating note. “Give it your best and forget about the rest. Carpe diem @memannara,” she wrote along with a red heart emoji. Check it out here:
This comes days after Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra also shared a strong message for the Bigg Boss 17 contestant. In a video message, Priyanka’s mom said, “Hi Mannara. Congratulations. You have reached one of the finales. I am very proud of you. Stay strong. Keep a strong head on your shoulders and don’t let them break you. You are one Chopra girl and you are really strong. Best of luck.”
Hailing from Ambala, Mannara Chopra is the cousin of Bollywood divas Parineeti and Priyanka Chopra. Mannara’s mother, who is a jewellery designer by profession, is the sister of Parineeti and Priyanka’s fathers. While Mannara’s father is a lawyer, she also has a younger sister named Mitali. She has worked in several Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada films.
Previously, Priyanka also shared a throwback photo with Mannara to wish her the best for her Bigg Boss 17 journey. “Throwback to little Mannara Chopra. Good luck little one (red heart, folded hands and flexed biceps emojis),” PeeCee had written.
Besides Mannara Chopra, other contestants who are competing for the Bigg Boss 17 trophy are – Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Arun Mahshetty and Abhishek Kumar.
Vicky Jain was eliminated on Tuesday during a surprise eviction. Bigg Boss called the contestants to the activity area following which they were asked to open their respective letters. The letters had their fate written on them. Abhishek Kumar opened his letter and jumped with joy as it had ‘finalist’ written on it. Following him, Mannara Chopra and Munawar Faruqui also found out that they were the finalists of the controversial reality show. When Arun, Ankita and Vicky were asked to read their letters, Vicky’s letter had ‘evicted’ written on it.
Bigg Boss 17 finale will be held on January 28, 2024.
