Bad Bunny And Spider-Man Team Up For Epic Bromance In New Music Video
Bad Bunny kicked off 2024 with a surprising music video, No Me Quiero Casar with an unexpected appearance by Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man.

In 2022, music sensation and actor Bad Bunny received exciting news after Sony announced a Spider-Man spin off movie, El Muerto, featuring the musician in a leading role. However, the production has been shelved for some reasons. Despite this setback, Bad Bunny didn’t distance himself from the friendly neighbourhood superhero. Bad Bunny kicked off 2024 with a surprising music release titled No Me Quiero Casar. While the music video thrilled fans, it was an unexpected appearance by Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man that stole the spotlight. The segment featured Spider-Man coming to Bad Bunny’s rescue after he falls from a building and later joins the artist for a celebration.

The music video features Bad Bunny in a dramatic scene where he falls from a building, prompting Spider-Man to leap in and save him, just like he came to Mary Jane’s rescue in Tobey Maguire’s first Spider-Man film. Following the daring rescue, the duo swings into action, joined by their friends and plays a game of pool along with some impressive dance moves along with Spider-Man’s signature tricks.

As per Comic Book reports, Bad Bunny was on cloud nine in 2022 after bagging a leading role in Spider-Man spin off movie, El Muerto, also known as Juan Carlos Sanchez, a super powered wrestler. The character gained fame for engaging Spider-Man in a charity wrestling match, nearly uncovering the hero’s secret identity before getting paralysed. The storyline turned to a partnership between El Muerto and Spider-Man, uniting against El Muerto’s enemy. However, the production came to an abrupt halt in April 2023, which was officially scheduled to release on January 12, 2024. However, news broke in September, that Bad Bunny has exited from the project, leaving the fans disheartened.

Talking about the cancelled project, Bad Bunny in an interview with Vanity Fair said, “I don’t know what to say. There are days where I feel strong and powerful, then there are days where I feel like I can’t handle my own life, you know what I mean? As a movie consumer myself, I’m not one to watch a lot of action movies. I’d even say it’s my least favorite genre. I would really like to play other kinds of things, like a little bit more drama, romance too, or comedy, a history movie with a little action in it.”

Despite the shelving of El Muerto, Marvel is gearing up for two Spider-Man spin-off releases this year. Firstly, Madame Web featuring Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb is scheduled for February 14, followed by Kraven the Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Sergei Kravinoff, is set to hit theatres on August 30.
