Gaurav More, in his early days, used to reside in Ulhasnagar in a tarpaulin house. Then he moved to Vitthalwadi. Later, he shifted to Kalyan and finally from there, to Filter Pada in Powai, Mumbai. Reportedly, the actor continues to reside in a chawl and is also called Bachchan of Filter Pada.
He has created an identity through his work and has garnered a huge fan following. While earlier he struggled to get work, today he gets many movie offers. Generally, after an actor gets successful, they buy their own house at a posh location. Despite much success, why does the actor continue to live in a chawl at Filter Pada, Powai then?
Gaurav More, in an interview revealed, that Filter Pada is in the Aarey Colony and very close to it is a forest. “I have spent my childhood in Filter Pada,” he said. The actor added that his entire family resides here and it hurts him when his friends share that they do not want to live here once they become financially stable as Filter Pada has sheltered him and his family for a long time. “I still love Filter Pada. I still live there. People come to my house and take pictures,” the actor further said.
When asked why he is referred to as Bachchan of Filter Pada, he answered that he loves Amitabh Bachchan and his movies a lot. He acted like the Deewar actor in an act, which won the hearts of people and he gained appreciation for his style. This made him famous and he earned the title- Bachchan of Filter Pada.
Gaurav More was last seen in the Marathi movie Mahaparinirvan. He now has a Hindi movie titled Sangi in his pipeline.
