Sivakarthikeyan starrer tentatively titled film SK 23, written and directed by AR Murugadoss, has generated enough buzz since its anticipation. The film comprises a talented cast of Sanjay Dutt, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon and others. Now, there is yet another addition to the cast, of actor Vikranth Santhosh. Vikranth confirmed it on Twitter and wrote,” Elated to be a part of @ARMmurugadoss sir’s film . It’s a dream to work with the master filmmaker. Thank you sir Double the fun working with @Siva_Karthikeyan brother #SKxARM”. The 39-year-old actor also attached a photo of himself holding a revolver.

SK 23 will feature Vidyut Jammwal as the main antagonist, with Kannada actor Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead, marking her debut in Tamil. Anirudh Ravichander will compose music for SK 23 which is billed to be a mass entertainer. The shooting for this film commenced in February, while its release date is yet to be announced. Sudeep Elamon has joined this project as a cinematographer. A Sreekar Prasad will be handling the edits.
Besides acting, actor Vikranth also exhibits a keen interest in cricket and he talked about it in an interview with the OTT Play. He talked about it amidst Lal Salaam’s promotions. According to Vikranth, “My father was working in Salem then. He used to bowl for at least 30 minutes a day because he was also interested in cricket. After that, when we shifted to Chennai, I used to practice every day and somehow it got ingrained in me,” recalls Vikranth. Despite representing Tamil Nadu and playing until the First Division, the actor gave up cricket and took acting. According to him, when he was about 19, he could not go anywhere despite performing.
Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, garnered mixed reviews from the audience.
In addition to these films, Vikranth also has a couple of other projects in his hand. He will act in the films Deepavali Bonus and VV 18. Some of his other hit films include Bakrid, the web series Survivor Tamil, etc.
