Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is not a new name to fans and cinephiles. Jason has already made his acting debut with his father in the 2009 film Vettaikaaran. In the film, he was featured in the song named Naan Adicha. Jason Sanjay is currently making headlines as he is all set to make his directorial debut. Last year, in August, it was reported that Jason’s debut film was bankrolled by Lyca Productions. It was also mentioned that they liked the narration and the script of the upcoming film. Ever since the project was announced, there has been immense curiosity among the viewers surrounding the project, with fans speculating about the actors who play the lead roles in the film. According to the latest reports, Sanjay is said to have held talks with various emerging heroes for his film. It includes the names of actors like Kavin Raj, Ashok Selvan, and others. It is said that for some reason they did not agree to act in his film, and thus Sanjay went to another actor.
Reports say Jason Sanjay has a conversation with none other than actor Chiyaan Vikram’s son, Dhruv Vikram. He made his debut as a hero in 2019 with the film Adithya Varma. The film opened to positive reviews from critics and became a super hit at the box office. Dhruv was awarded the Best Debut Actor at the 13th Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards and Zee Cine Awards Tamil. Later, Dhruv Vikram acted in films like Varmaa and Mahaan.He is currently busy shooting for the upcoming Tamil-language sports drama film Bison. The film is written and directed by Mari Selvaraj. It is also said that director S Shankar’s daughter, Aditi Shankar, will play the female lead in the film. Aditi made her acting debut with 2022 Viruman, which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut—South.
