Dia Mirza offered a glimpse of her all-girl Bollywood meet-up on social media. On Wednesday, May 1, the Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein actress shared a string of pictures on Instagram, featuring popular B-town celebrities including veteran actress Shabana Azmi, Urmila Matondkar, Konkona Sen Sharma, Richa Chadha, Divya Dutta and more. The fun home outing was organised at the residence of Dia Mirza, who also acted as the host for the day. Twinning in soft pastel and white ensembles, the celebrities painted a happy picture with their get-together, grabbing the eyeballs of movie enthusiasts in no time.
“I want to see you win,” captioned Dia Mirza, before tagging Tanvi Azmi, Shahana Goswami and Vidya Balan to the post, claiming that the three were “missed”. The first photograph captured Konkona Sen Sharma donning a white collared kurta with matching flared pants. Next to her, Heeramandi actress Richa Chadha put on a light brown, floral-embroidered kurta and white pants, Shabana Azmi looked graceful in a white shirt and denim jeans.
Urmila Matondkar ditched the monotone colour palette for a pink outfit followed by Divya Dutta in an off-white co-ord set and Dia in a flowy white dress. The Bollywood girl squad posed for pictures together, sporting beaming smiles at the camera. The last showed the guests sitting in the living room, an enormous cake placed on the table.
As soon as the post surfaced on the internet, social media users were quick to mark their presence in the comments. “All beautiful ladies in one picture,” commented one individual. Lauding Dia Mirza’s caption, another wrote, “This is the greatest caption I have ever read for friendship.” “So much beauty and talent in one frame… love it!!! Simply beautiful,” came a third lovely remark.
Actress Tannishtha Chatterjee, who was also present at the gathering wrote, “This afternoon was so special. It was not only fun but also so many other things. We shared truly. To these amazing friends. Thanks, Dia Mirza for hosting this and Shabana Azmi for bringing us all together.”
