Priyanka Chopra recently graced The Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner, which made its return to New York Fashion Week for the third year in a row. The star-studded event, held earlier this week, brought together numerous celebrities to raise awareness and support organizations combating gender-based violence. One of the co-hosts, Salma Hayek, took to Instagram to express her gratitude to all those who attended.
Salma shared several photos from the evening, featuring celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, Viola Davis, Dakota Johnson, Julia Garner, and Orlando Bloom. Also posing for the camera were Lenny Kravitz, Matthew McConaughey, Katy Perry, Jeff Bezos, and Carmelo Anthony. Priyanka was seen in several shots, including ones where she posed with Salma, Julianne, and Naomi.
Salma captioned her post, “I’m so proud of this event, it was so inspiring. I am endlessly thankful to all of you who stood by us to raise awareness and vital funds for @girleffect @itsonus @nnedv. Your participation will have such a strong impact on the lives of women, children, and families, creating a ripple effect in their communities.”
She added, “Please stay tuned, as I’ll be sharing some of the amazing speeches that took place; they deserve to be highlighted individually.” In response, Priyanka commented, “It was so inspiring @salmahayek. Thank you for having me.” Orlando Bloom chimed in, “You should be!”
The event had an impressive lineup of co-hosts, including Francois-Henri Pinault, Camila Alves McConaughey, Matthew McConaughey, Carmelo Anthony, Urs Fischer, Kim Kardashian, Donatella Versace, Naomi Watts, and Billy Crudup.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra recently completed filming for her upcoming movie The Bluff, set in the 19th-century Caribbean. Directed by Frank E. Flowers, the film will see her portraying a former female pirate fighting to protect her family. Additionally, Priyanka will also star in Heads of State, alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.
