Pooja Hegde To Star In Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 4? What We Know

Actress Pooja Hegde has faced a string of flops for a long time, starting from Radhe Shyam and the last one being Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Now, amidst these constant failures at the box office, Pooja is reportedly in talks for another film. As per reports, the actress is in talks with director Raghava Lawrence regarding the film Kanchana 4. There is no official update about this update. If it is true, then it will be the first time that Raghava Lawrence and Pooja Hegde will collaborate on a project. According to a report, Raghava gave a narration of the film to Pooja Hegde. The report mentions that she liked the narration and her part as well. According to reports, Goldmines Telefilms will produce Kanchana 4 on a grand scale. Reportedly, the film will go on floors as soon as the casting is completed. One magazine report mentioned that earlier, there was a buzz around the actress Mrunal Thakur’s name as well for the role in Kanchana 4. Now, as per the reports, Raghava Lawrence is looking towards casting Pooja only. The earlier instalments of the horror-comedy Kanchana franchise have received a phenomenal response from the audience.

Pooja Hegde also has other projects in her pipeline. She recently wrapped up the shoot of Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews. Billed as a power-packed action thriller, Deva is headlined by Shahid Kapoor. Pooja shared the news of Deva’s pack-up in her Instagram stories. In Deva, Pooja plays a determined journalist, while Shahid takes on the role of a rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case. Roy Kapur Films has produced this film in collaboration with Zee Studios. Deva is set to hit the cinema halls on February 14, 2025. Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait and others have also acted in this film.

Pooja Hegde has 3 other films in the pipeline — Surya 44 with Tamil superstar Suriya and filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala’s home production film Sanki. She will also act in the Housefull 5 directed by Tarun Mansukhani. Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and others will also play important roles in this instalment.
