Natasa Stankovic was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday night amid her divorce rumours with Hardik Pandya. In a video that surfaced on social media, the model-turned-actress was seen arriving at the airport with her son, Agastya. Natasa was also seen carrying bags as she ignored the paparazzi and avoided posing for the cameras.
Natasa’s airport spotting comes hours after she also posted a picture of a suitcase on her Instagram stories with the caption, “It’s that time of the year,” along with plane and house emojis, hinting at a possible trip back to Serbia, her hometown. This has left netizens wondering if Natasa is indeed bidding adieu to Hardik’s home for good.
Former Bigg Boss contestant and dancer Natasa Stankovic has been married to cricketer Hardik Pandya since May 31, 2020. The couple renewed their wedding vows according to the Hindu and Christian rituals in February 2023. However, their divorce rumours first made headlines in May this year.
It all started after netizens noticed that the model removed the ‘Pandya’ surname from her Instagram handle. Later, a Reddit post titled “Natasa and Hardik separated?” also went viral and caught everyone’s attention. The post claimed that the two have not been posting pictures with each other and questioned Natasa’s absence from IPL 2024 matches.
Later, a report by Bombay Times also claimed that Hardik and Natasa have been facing issues in their married life for almost six months now. “Tension has been brewing in their marriage for the past six months. The couple is likely to head for a separation. However, the stories around the alimony percentage are speculative and exaggerated. Also, news about this being a PR campaign us untrue,” a source told the Bombay Times.
Earlier this month, Natasa posted a video on Instagram stories that seemed to confirm the separation rumours. In the clip, she said, “Just a gentle reminder from me to you again, God did not remove the Red Sea, He simply parted it. Which means, he won’t remove a problem from your life, he will simply make a way through it.”
