Malaika Arora shared a cryptic post about trust on Arjun Kapoor’s 39th birthday. Malaika and Arjun have reportedly broken up. The split rumours were fuelled on Tuesday when Malaika did not attend Arjun’s birthday bash either. Although Malaika is yet to publicly post a birthday wish for Arjun, she took to her Instagram Stories and shared about liking people who you can trust behind your back.
“I like people that I can trust with my eyes closed & my back turned,” read the post. Malaika shared the post without a caption.
Malaika and Arjun went public with their dating life in 2019. However, a few weeks ago, Pinkvilla reported that he and Malaika have parted ways. “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship,” a source told Pinkvilla.
“They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other hugely and have been a pillar of strength for each other. Over the years, they have given their relationship a lot of respect. They will continue to give each other the same respect despite them deciding to part ways. Both of them were in a serious relationship for years, and they expect people to be gracious enough to give them space at this emotional time,” the insider added.
Later, the diva’s manager confirmed that she was still dating Kapoor and that the reports claiming they had parted ways were false. “No no. All rumours,” she told India Today. Arjun and Malaika are yet to issue a formal statement.
