Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD has recently completed its fourth weekend at the box office. The film is said to have collected 17.4 crore in the last three days, taking the total collection of 25 days to cross Rs 600 crore in India. According to the latest reports, the Hindi version of the film has set a new record by earning Rs 275.9 crore in four weeks. This makes Kalki 2898 AD the third highest-grossing South Indian film in the Hindi market. Reports suggest it surpassed director SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The next goal of the film is to achieve the Rs 300 crore mark.

According to recent reports, the Nag Ashwin-directed film is now running at Rs 616.95 crore net in India and is aiming to go past Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which collected Rs 640.25 crore at the box office. Once it surpasses Jawan, Kalki 2898 AD will become the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time at the domestic box office. At the worldwide box office, the film has entered the Rs 1000 crore gross club.
Kalki 2898 AD is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in the key roles. The film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography handled by Serbian cinematographer Djordje Stojiljkovic, and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film is said to have been made on a budget of Rs 600 crore and is the most expensive Indian film ever made.
Prabhas will next be seen in the Telugu-language mythological fantasy film Kannappa. The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and backed by Mohan Babu. The film is based on the legend of Kannappa, a devotee of the Hindu god Shiva. The film features Vishnu Manchu in the key role, who also wrote the screenplay, alongside Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar (his Telugu debut), and Kajal Aggarwal in guest appearances.
