Janhvi Kapoor is staying very active in her career these days. Following the positive reception of her performance in Sharan Sharma’s ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi,’ where she starred opposite Rajkummar Rao, she is now preparing for her upcoming project, ‘Ulajh.’ In a recent interview, the actress opened up about her experience with her first heartbreak.
During a recent chat with Hautterfly, Janhvi Kapoor shared her insights on what she learned from experiencing heartbreak in a romantic relationship. She revealed that she has only gone through heartbreak once, but fortunately, the same individual returned and helped mend her heart, making the experience less impactful for her. She stated, “I have genuinely experienced heartbreak only one time in life, but the same person came back and put my heart together. So, it was all good.”
Additionally, the ‘Ulajh’ actress opened up about the mood swings she experienced during PMS when she was younger and how they impacted her relationship with her boyfriend. She mentioned that during the initial years of her periods, she would often break up with him, leaving him in disbelief for the first few months. However, after some time, he became accustomed to it and responded with a simple, “Yes, okay.”
Janhvi also revealed that she would often return to the same person to apologize, saying, “After two days, I would go back to him crying and saying sorry. I wouldn’t understand why my brain was working like this. It was very extreme.”
The actress noted that she finds it “strange” that during busy shooting schedules, she doesn’t feel the pain as much. However, when she’s at home or participating in just a few events or an ad shoot, the pain can be “paralyzing.” Interestingly, Janhvi’s rumored relationship with Shikhar Pahariya continues to grab attention online.
Her upcoming film ‘Ulajh,’ directed by Sudhanshu Saria, features an impressive cast including Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, and Jitendra Joshi in key roles. The thriller is set to hit theaters on August 2, 2024, produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Amrita Pandey.
