Guardians Of The Galaxy fame director James Gunn is opening up on his future with the Marvel Studios after he completes the superhero trilogy featuring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista among others. The third GOTG movie is set to begin production this year and will be eyeing 2023 release.

Answering to a fan question which read, “Do you plan on working with Marvel after Gradians 3 (sic)?,” James said, “Guardians 3 will be years of working seven days a week on two movies, a TV series, a TV special, a Disney parks ride & more. I have no plans for anything after that & hope to refrain from having plans after that for the time being, other than a long nap.” He playfully added, “For the record, my significant other agrees with you but I am intent on proving her wrong.”

Apart from GOTG 3, James is also attached to I Am Groot series on Disney Plus and a holiday special of GOTG franchise.
