Actor Kiccha Sudeep, often referred to as Sudeep, is one of the most-sought-after actors in the Kannada film industry. The actor, director, producer and television presenter is well-known for his versatility and charismatic screen presence. Not just Kannada, but Sudeep has also fired up the silver screens in other languages such as Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Are you aware about the actor’s strategy of choosing his film’s stories? In an exclusive interview with Samarjit Lankesh, son of popular filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh, Kiccha Sudeep said he trusts his experience and the good minds around him. He claimed that he has good friends, talented team around him. The inputs given by his friends help him in choosing the story.
Elaborating further, Sudeep said that those who like to stay with him, stay as they want the best for him. “But sometimes it depends on the mood. If the mood is good, even a bad story feels good,” he said. This is why the actor thinks twice before accepting a movie and taking the next step.
In the same interview, when Kiccha Sudeep was asked about his favourite artiste, he replied, “My favourite hero is Vishnuvardhan sir. I have said this many times. I have only called two people bosses in my life: my father, whom I still call boss today, and Vishnu sir. I really admire Vishnu sir’s personality and style. He is always my favourite.”
Kiccha Sudeep was last seen in Anup Bhandari’s Vikrant Rona. The film takes place almost half a century ago in a remote village where a series of unexplainable events which they attribute to the supernatural occur. The film also stars Nirup Bhandari and Neetha Ashok.
