JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Candidates who have already applied for the exam will be able to edit details by logging in to the official website -- jeemain.nta.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) 2024 session 2 application correction window today, March 6. Candidates who have already applied for the exam will be able to edit details by logging in to the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in. The facility will be available till tomorrow, March 7.

Candidates will be allowed to make edits to their personal details, exam cities, number of papers applying for, educational qualifications, and documents uploaded. Applicants will have to log in with the application number and password generated during the registration process or through Digilocker, ABC ID to make changes in the JEE Main 2024 session 2 form. They will also have to pay an additional fee to make the necessary changes to the form.

JEE Main 2024 Session 2: What Can You Edit?

Candidates will be allowed to change their mother and father’s name, category and sub-category, exam city, medium of language, educational qualification, and course or paper. Students are not allowed to make any changes to their mobile number, email address, permanent address, and correspondence address.

Step. 1 Go to JEE Main official portal — jeemain-nta.nic.in

Step. 2 On the home page click on the application correction link

Step 3. Sign in with your application number, and password

Step 4. Make the changes in the application form carefully

Step 5. Pay fees

Step 6: Take a printout of the form for future reference

The second session of JEE Main is going to be held between April 1 to April 15. There will be two papers — while paper 1 is held for entrance to BE and BTech programmes, paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.  Candidates who clear the JEE Main and are in the top 2.5 lakh rank, will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2024 for admission into engineering courses offered by IITs. The registration process for JEE Advanced is slated to begin on April 30, with exams scheduled for June 4. The first session of the exam was held in January.
