Heeramandi actress Aditi Rao Hydari has been making waves for her earnest performance in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Netflix series. The actress also made heads turn with her stunning appearance on the red carpet of the 77th Festival de Cannes. Amid all of this, a bunch of throwback photos of the actress have surfaced on the internet. Needless to say, Aditi looked completely unrecognisable in these photos.

Sharing the actor’s throwback image alongside her latest photo, a user wrote on X, “What did she eat?” While another one said, “You cannot tell me that they are the same person.”

Meanwhile, Aditi Rao Hydari is currently basking in the success of ‘Heeramandi’. The actress recently opened up on how her fiancé, actor Siddharth, reacted after watching the show.

In an interview with Galatta, Aditi shared, “His eyes were all red and swollen. Siddhu called me after he binged watched it and actually couldn’t speak. He just said, I wanna come and meet Sanjay sir. After that he did manage to say something, he said later, he was like now we have two freedom fighters in our family. Bhagat Singh and Bibbo Jaan.”

Siddharth had earlier taken to his Instagram story, and praised the ‘acting, music, aesthetic, and drama’ in ‘Heeramandi’. The note read, ‘Grateful that we are living in the age of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Saab. A letter of love and freedom told in the confines of a bygone age with images that mesmerize the heart, music, and verse that stir the soul—a work of art that would make K. Asif Saab proud. Love and congratulations to the whole team!”

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chaddha, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Shaikh in the lead roles.

Aditi recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Siddharth in Telangana. They surprised fans by confirming the news on Instagram, amid rumours of a secret marriage.
