Emraan Hashmi Hugs Mallika Sherawat, Ends 20-Year 'Fight' After Murder, 'Bad Kisser' Comment | Watch

Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat have finally buried the hatchet, 20 years after their fight during the shoot of the 2004 erotic thriller ‘Murder’. Emraan and Mallika had a reunion at film producer Anand Pandit’s daughter’s wedding reception in Mumbai on Thursday night. Needless to say, fans got super excited to see “the iconic onscreen pair” together on the red carpet.

Emraan and Mallika were all smiles as they greeted each other with a warm hug and even posed together for the paparazzi on the red carpet. Mallika looked stunning in pink gown with plunging neckline, while Emraan donned black suit. In a video, shared by Viral Bhayani, Emraan and Mallika couldn’t stop blushing as the paparazzi rooted for them.

One fan commented, “She looks stunning! I still think her song Maya Maya was epic! One of the best Item Songs ever! Why is she so underrated??” Another one wrote, “Hotness started from here.” “Best pair,” a third user said.

Emraan and Mallika’s ‘Murder’ was a huge hit when it was released 20 years ago. However, the duo did not get along on the set. During an interview in 2021, Mallika had recalled her fight with Emraan on the sets of ‘Murder’ and how they never spoke to each other.

During an interview on The Love Laugh Live show, when host Mandira Bedi asked about her fights with her co-actors, Mallika recalled “The funniest was with Emraan Hashmi after or during Murder. We didn’t speak and now I think it was so childish. It was after the film I think during promotions or something we had a misunderstanding. It was so uncalled for and so childish on my part also. I’m no less.” Mallika added that though she laughs about the fight now, they are no longer in touch.

In 2014, Emraan Hashmi had made some controversial statements against Mallika on the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan.’ When host Karan Johar asked him to name the best and the worst on-screen kisses he had. Surprisingly, Emraan said that his “worst on-screen kiss” was with his Murder co-star, Mallika, while he called Jacqueline Fernandez a better kisser in ‘Murder 2’.
