Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover’s little girl Devi enjoys a massive fan following. The young star kid keeps making appearances on her mommy’s social media page, and we just cannot have enough of her. As she clocks 20 beautiful months, the Raaz actress took to her Instagram stories to share a an adorable video of her. Sharing the video, she wrote, “20 blissful months with our little Goddess.”
Bipasha Basu welcomed a baby girl Devi with Karan Singh Grover back in November 2022. The actress had earlier revealed that their daughter underwent heart surgery 3 months after her birth. Devi was born with two holes in her heart. The actress shared that Devi suffered from ventricular septal defect (VSD) when she was born.
During a recent Instagram live chat with Neha Dhupia, Bipasha got all teary-eyed and emotional opening up about the same. Talking about her journey in motherhood, she shared that the ride has been really tough ad ‘very different from any normal mother-father. “Our journey has been very different from any normal mother-father, it has been a lot tougher than the smile that I have on my face right now. I would not wish this to happen to any mother. For a new mother, when you get to know that… I got to know on the third day of me having a baby that our baby is born with two holes in her heart. I thought I’ll not share this, but I’m sharing this because I feel that there are a lot of mothers, who helped me in this journey, and it was very difficult to find those mothers…”
Bipasha Basu had earlier confessed in an interview with the Bombay Times that she and Karan always wanted a baby girl. “Karan and I were clear from the beginning that we wanted a baby. I don’t have any thoughts on why it is so late or why it took time. For me, this is the right time. I believe this is when we were supposed to have our baby. We believe in manifestation,” she had said.
“From the time we have wanted a child, we have hoped for a baby girl. I know a baby is a beautiful gift, and we are supposed to be in acceptance of any gender, and the bigger picture is that, but we call our baby ‘she’. We believe it’s a she, and we have believed that since the time we decided to have a baby,” the actress added.
