Popular Kannada stars Tharun Sudhir and Sonal Monteiro are all set to tie the knot on August 11. The wedding festivities will take place on August 10 and August 11, reportedly at the Poornima Palace near Kengeri, Bangalore. It is going to be a grand function as who’s who from the South film industry and political dignitaries will be seen attending the event. Sudhir has personally invited famous personalities of the film industry like KGF star Yash, director Prashant Neel, late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, South superstar Kichcha Sudeep, actor Shivraj Kumar, Actress Aradhana, Roaring Star Sree Murali, musician Naada Brahma Hamsalekha and Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan’s son-in-law Aniruddha Jatakar along with his wife Keerthi. Not just the Sandalwood stalwarts, Tharun Sudhir has also invited Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, Former Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, R Ashok and DK Shivakumar, among other political dignitaries to the wedding functions.

As the wedding is just a few days away, Sonal Monteiro’s family recently surprised her with a heartwarming bachelorette party. Treating her fans, the actress posted a video on Instagram and shared a glimpse from the joyous time wherein she looked all excited and cheerful, engrossed in the fun moments.
While expressing her love for her sisters and friends, Sonal wrote in the caption, “They said ‘Sonu we’re picking you up on Friday and dropping you on Saturday’ That’s it !!! And this happened. Bachelorette. Thank you for making it so beautiful and making me so emotional. I am lucky to have you guys in my life. Sharal Monteiro and Joey, thank you for making it even though u guys had work! Tharun Sudhri, who is the son of veteran actor Sudhir and theatre artist Malathi Sudhir announced his wedding with Sonal in July. He posted a video on X and wrote, “Tharun here, directing my greatest love story yet, with my leading lady, Sonal.”
Notably, Tharun and Sonal began dating after they first met on the sets of the 2021 film Roberrt.
