A Look At Kanika Dhillon’s 'Haseen' Birthday Celebration With Bhumi Pednekar

Kanika Dhillon, fresh from the success of her latest work Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal, is currently in a total mood of celebration. After all, it was her birthday. She turned 40 on August 25. Now, she has uploaded some cherished moments from the celebration, expressing her gratitude. Kanika Dhillon had earlier marked the third anniversary of the Netflix thriller Haseen Dillruba, where she teased the sequel, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba. She had also praised Taapsee’s portrayal of Rani Kashyap in the first part. Reflecting on her journey with Haseen Dillruba, Kanika wrote, “With my Haseen Dillruba — it’s been 3 Years of this roller-coaster journey, Rani Kashyap — you have been a leading lady for me, not just with your immense talent — but gumption to stand with me against all odds in the endeavour to tell the most Haseen story.”

Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba debuted on Netflix on August 9. The film’s synopsis read, “While evading the cops in Agra, Rani and Rishu scheme to run away together. But when their plans go awry, Rani asks a mild-mannered admirer for help.”
