Her sculpted muscles and abs did not come easy. She has undergone a tremendous diet and lifestyle change to look the way she is now and has managed to become the inspiration for many woman who craved to have a physique like hers but were skeptical because of the societal stereotypes that render women aiming for that slender, petite, less muscular shape.
"No matter how much people like to tell me lifting isn't for me esp. being a girl.. It'll never amount to how much I LOVE to LIFT" she writes on one of her Instagram posts.
Bani J’s workout is the key to her fitness and those sculpted muscles. She never hesitates in experimenting with her fitness routine and loves lifting extremely heavy weights in the gym. She is never hesitant of working on her muscles and simply loves the way her body has taken shape post her transformation.
"Yeah I train when I travel, I don't see why I wouldn't. That's what makes it a 'lifestyle'. You control your environment (@krisgethin) don't be controlled by it. Be present, make your own choices, it's your life. You're in charge of making every single day count. For you. I'm just out here living this life I LOVE, every single day, doing things that make me happy and bring me SO much joy."
"3 hours of sleep and you know I'm not going to use that as an excuse to not do what I LOVE!! Lift to uplift not just yourself, but those around you!" she the fitness enthusiast writes.
She follows a strict six meals a day plan, ensures that once she had her first three meals she hits the gym soon after.
For greens in her diet, she relies on broccoli, beans, zucchini, and asparagus.
The main sources of carbohydrates in her diet remain sweet potatoes, brown rice, and oats and for proteins, she relies on eggs, chicken and fish.
She does not deprive herself of cheat days and loves to devour salmon when she feels like treating herself and does not mind a piece of cake to satiate her taste buds. A small pizza or some Chinese delicacy of her choice also make to her list of cheat-eating options once in a week.
"Be a proud misfit and don't let stereotypes put you down" she believes.
